The Brief: Herbal Essences requested new visual assets to accompany their new bio:renew line that bring forth their real botanicals and vibrant visual identity.

The Process: I worked with the new visual identity guidelines to create a series of assets that brought a fresh look to their presence on Pinterest.

The Outcome: 50+ assets to be posted across the platform as static posts, dynamic animated reels, influencer content, and videos.

At the heart of Herbal Essences’ feel what’s real campaign and the launch of their new bio:renew lines, are the extensibly sourced real botanical ingredients. The client felt their Pinterest presence needed a refresh, emphasizing this. Collaborating with the Pinterest creative team, we overhauled their visual aesthetic, bringing forth the lush greens and authentic botanicals essential to their bio:renew products.

As the designer I established a visual language over several base templates, defining their color palette and animation style. We focused on reorganizing the order of information for easy readability.

I incorporated animations into several assets to add interest and guide the consumer’s eyes toward to the actionable item, in this case the “learn more“ button.

results

We launched Herbal Essences’ new set of pins launched with their first batch on January 14th, 2022 and have continued to launch throughout the fiscal year.
